 FAQs

Insurance

  • Yes! Zencape currently accepts United Health Care Plans in New York. We are actively working on expanding our insurance coverage. In the next few weeks, we will be able to accept most major insurance plans in New York including Aetna, Anthem (BCBS Affiliate), Emblem, FidelisCare, Medicare, and Medicaid. If you have any questions about insurance, please feel free to us at hello@zencape.com.

  • We currently accept Medicare in New York! We are actively working to accept Medicaid and all providers will be enrolled within the next few months! Please reach out to hello@zencape.com with any further questions.

  • Yes! Zencape Health integrates with DoseSpot / Surescripts which give us access to send your prescriptions to more than 65,000 pharmacies nationwide. Your pharmacy should be able to process your insurance so that you can get your prescriptions covered.

  • If lab work ends up being a necessary part of your care, it is unfortunately not covered by insurance and will require you to pay out of pocket. To offset this financial burden, your care coordinator will provide you with an insurance invoice (aka superbill) for your lab fees to submit to your insurance according to their specific claims process. Please reach out to us at hello@zencape.com if you have questions on your specific case.

Locations Served

  • The Physician-led Pelvic Health Program is currently only available to residents of New York and New Jersey. We believe that everyone deserves excellent care regardless of location, so we are actively working on expanding access! Sign up for our mailing list to receive updates.

  • We have partnerships with clinics where we can facilitate easy & fast access to in-person visits. Additionally, our care coordinators will help you identify an in-network provider when necessary.

Care

  • We know that gathering your medical history, scheduling appointments, coordinating in-person exams and procedures, and navigating billing and insurance can be burdensome tasks. And we also know that managing complex medical care can be triggering or emotionally difficult at times. In addition to being your emotional support system and patient advocate, a care coordinator is someone that can help you manage the logistical tasks of your health journey, so you can stay focused on feeling better.

  • Zencape Health gives you access to a multidisciplinary team of experts that work together to treat the whole you. Our current telehealth care team includes board-certified OBGYNS who are fellowship-trained in pelvic conditions, board-certified Integrative Medicine physicians, pelvic floor physical therapists, and pain psychologists.

  • Our mission is to deliver inclusive & equitable care for all. We recognize that many of our patients come to us with long histories of medical trauma, gaslighting or bias, and we aim to deliver trauma-informed care that acknowledges their full experience. As a team, we are committed to building an equitable healthcare platform where the people we serve are supported, believed, and treated with respect. We are still learning and your feedback is always welcome. You can reach us at hello@zencape.com.
